Building Responsibly thru Energy Star Energy Star is now a way of life and as a builder we have to think more about being Environmentally Responsible and our checks and balances is Energy Star. If you look at the pictures at the top of this page, you will note some interesting details which include:  a Manabloc which is a high efficient water management system.  In the same picture you'll note an insulated, high efficient power vent water heater.  In the next picture you'll see a Celulose Sprayed In Insulation System - highly efficient, with no air infiltrations and the best part is that the Celulose is fireproof and comes from recycled newspapers.  The next picture depicts a new Hybrid HVAC System which includes a 17 Seer Energy Saving Heat Pump and the Furnace provides a 93% Gas Back Up System, that's right - it is a back up system.  You should note the energy efficient mastic sealed metal supplies and returns and all of this is managed by a Multi-Zone control system.  The blower and control systems in this particular project are so efficient that we are able to manage almost 1300 sq ft per ton of cooling.
